Throwing a birthday party for your four-legged friend sounds fun and all, but is it really as simple as it sounds? You’d think that if humans aren’t involved, it would be--but it really isn’t.
Thanks to some trial and error, here are some #PetloxTips that can make party planning a tad bit easier:
#PetloxTips to Make Party Planning Easier
- The most important of all: BUDGET! Having a clear idea of your budget will dictate as to what your entire party can or can’t look like.
- Pick a theme! What’s a party without a theme? Your theme can be as simple as your favorite color! Not only so, based on your chosen theme, you can create a playlist that all the cool cats and hot dogs can jam together.
- Will there be humans or will it be an all around pet-oriented party? This will determine your entire guest list--both the sizing and the guest list itself.
- Decide if the party will be indoors or outdoors. Many factors are involved with this decision; weather, activities, food options, etc. For instance, if the weather is nice and warm with a slight breeze, there are a few LA county pet-friendly beaches. Click here for more information.
Warnings
1. Make sure all dogs are vaccinated in advance. This is mandatory.
2. Not neutered? Then no entry! Protect your dogs.
3. Invite dogs that won’t be a mood-kill. Make sure they’re the type that are friendly towards the other pets that will be present. Otherwise, talk about a party gone wrong!
